This development board has been designed basically to learn AVR controllers. ATMega32 and ATMega16 are two most popular controllers from learning perspective. having a large community and internet support and featuring fairly good memory and peripherals.

R2R is a technique used to produce any bits of digital to analog conversion. This PCB has been designed to make an 8 Bit R2R ladder along with an OP AMP to produce nice output volts with some driving capacity. The supply voltage of the board should be more than the logic level volts. If using 5V logic levels, then supply voltage should be 6V. or expect a small decrease in the output volts for full 255 number.

PCB JDM In Circuit Programming for PIC
NOTE: Use C828 transistors on place on 2N3906 as labelled on silk screen. JDM programmer is the simplest programmer for microchip PIC Microcontrollers. This PCB works well with almost all commonly used PIC microcontrollers by the hobbyists. It gives out 5V output so should be used with 5V tolerant microcontrollers. A number of client software are available, we prefer using PICPGM which is free to download. JDM programmers work with serial port, and preferably the hardware type RS232 serial port as provided in desktop computers. We have not tested it with USB to RS232 converters.
