Instructions for use:

Voltmeter calibration method:

0.28inch 0-100V Three Wire DC Voltmeter

This is tiny and compact digital voltmeter with a red LED Display. The 0.28inch 0-100V Three Wire DC Voltmeter Red Panel requires only a few minutes of configuration and is as simple as directly connecting wires to the source you want to measure and seeing the LED blink!!!!

The red wire is to connect to the positive pole, the black wire is to connect to negative pole and the yellow/white wire is to connect to the positive pole of that source or another source across which we meant to measure the voltage. Function Description:

How to use:
Used as an ordinary buck-boost module with over-current protection capability
(1) Adjust the CV constant voltage potentiometer so that the output voltage reaches the voltage you want.
(2) Measure the output short-circuit current with 10A current meter (connect the two test leads directly to the output end), and adjust the CC constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the preset over-current protection value. (For example, if the current value displayed by the multimeter is 2A, the maximum current will only reach 2A when you use the module. When the current reaches 2A, the red constant voltage and constant current LED is on, otherwise the LED is off)
Caution: When using in this state, there will be a voltage drop of 0 ~ 0.2V due to the current sampling resistor at the output. At the same time, the input and output leads will have a certain linear voltage drop This is a normal phenomenon!
4.2. Used as a battery charger
Without constant current function of the module can not be used to charge the battery, due to the power of the battery and the charger pressure drop is large, resulting in charging current is too large, causing damage to the battery, so the beginning of the battery to use constant Flow charging, when the charge to a certain extent automatically switch back to constant voltage charging.
(1) Determine the float voltage and charging current for which you need the rechargeable battery (if the lithium battery parameter is 3.7V / 2200mAh then the float voltage is 4.2V and the maximum charging current is 1C, ie 2200mA)
(2) Under no-load condition, the multimeter measures the output voltage and adjusts the constant voltage potentiometer so that the output voltage reaches the float voltage. (If the 3.7V lithium battery is charged, adjust the output voltage to 4.2V)
(3) Measure the output short-circuit current with 10A current meter (directly connect the two test leads to the output terminal), and adjust the constant current potentiometer so that the output current reaches the predetermined charge current value;
(4) Connect the battery, charging.

Used as LED constant current driver module
(1) Make sure you need to drive the LED operating current and the maximum operating voltage;
(2) Under no-load conditions, the multimeter measures the output voltage and adjusts the constant voltage potentiometer so that the output voltage reaches the maximum operating voltage of the LED.
(3) with a multimeter 10A current measurement output short-circuit current, while adjusting the constant current potentiometer so that the output current reaches the predetermined LED operating current;

TP4056 Lithium Battery Charger and Protection Module

This module is made for charging rechargeable lithium batteries using the constant-current/constant-voltage (CC/CV) charging method. In addition to safely charging a lithium battery the module also provides necessary protection required by lithium batteries. See below concerning the protection features this module provides.

Protection Features

This module uses the TP4056 Li-Ion charge controller IC and a separate protection IC. There are other types of modules on the market that use the TP4056 but lack any protection circuits or ICs to provide the necessary protection needed with lithium batteries. This module uses both the TP4056 and the DW01A Li-Ion battery protection IC, which together in combination provide the following protection features:

  • Manage the constant current to constant voltage charging of a connected lithium battery
  • Over-discharge protection - keeps your battery from being discharged below 2.4V, a healthy minimum voltage level for your battery
      If a connected battery has been discharged below 2.4V the module will cut output power from the battery until the battery voltage has been re-charged above 3.0V (the over-discharge release voltage), which at that time the module will again allow discharge of power from the battery to a connected load. Although the module cuts output power from the battery during an over-discharge situation, it still allows charging of the battery to occur through the parasitic diode of the discharge control MOSFET (FS8205A Dual MOSFET).
  • Overcharge protection - the module will safely charge your battery to 4.2V
  • Overcurrent and short-circuit protection - the module will cut the output from the battery if the discharge rate exceeds 3A or if a short-circuit condition occurs
  • Soft-start protection limits inrush current
  • Trickle charge (battery reconditioning) - if the voltage level of the connected battery is less than 2.9V, the module will use a trickle charge current of 130mA until the battery voltage reaches 2.9V, at which point the charge current will be linearly increased to the configured charge current.

Can be powered, for charging, from a micro USB cable or the + and - connections.The power source needs to be able to provide at least 1A for the charger to correctly charge a connected battery. Most modern phone/USB chargers can provide 1A or more; refer to the label on your phone charger to verify. If you use the micro USB connection, be sure to use a USB cable that is made to carry at least 1A.

Includes two indicator LEDs. Red LED indicates charging. Blue LED indicates charge complete.

The module uses a very small amount of current (in the micro amps) whenever it is connected to a battery. It is fine to leave it connected to a battery for long periods, but if you plan to not charge the battery within four months then we recommend disconnecting the module from the battery.

You can connect two lithium battery cells in parallel to form an equivalent single cell battery with a total capacity of twice that of the individual single cells, but we do not recommend connecting more than two cells at a time to this module.
